'Ronaldinho Gaucho's Team' Debuts at COTB

GIG Italia Entertainment and Planeta Junior Italia will show the first Italian-Brazilian co-production cartoons “Ronaldinho Gaucho's Team,” drawn by Mauricio De Sousa, during the international festival of animation Cartoons on the Bay in Rapallo.

Planeta Junior Italia has signed an agreement with Mauricio de Sousa Productions for the property “Ronaldinho Gaucho's team,” developed in collaboration between the player Ronaldinho, awarded footballer of the year in 2009, and the Brazilian cartoonist Mauricio de Sousa.

The TV cartoon series, produced by GIG Italia Entertainment, is targeted to 4-14-year-old boys and girls and will air on RAI YO YO next year. GIG Italia Entertainment has signed an exclusive publishing deal with MSP International for the property.

Planeta Junior Italy will represent the property at Cartoons on the Bay in licensing categories including apparel, merchandising, back to school, toys and gifts.
