The Revolution will manage a merchandise program spanning all consumer product categories, excluding PlayStation peripherals and PlayStation-specific accessories for LittleBigPlanet, God of War, Ratchet and Clank, Wipeout, EyePet and Invizimals.
"PlayStation is an integral part of youth and the young-at-heart culture, which makes up one of today's most important consumer segments," says Alan Radmall, chief executive officer of The Revolution. "When the release of a new game in Europe can, in a week, generate more revenue than a leading movie in two months, we must acknowledge the impact PlayStation can have in the market.
