Six Flags Entertainment and game developer Capcom have teamed up to host a themed event at Six Flags theme parks across the nation, in celebration of the release of “Resident Evil 6” Oct. 2.

The Resident Evil 6 Flags Night will take place Oct. 6 during the theme parks’ month-long Halloween event, Fright Fest, and feature themed displays, game demo stations and branded “street teams” who will hand out “Resident Evil 6” prizes.

As part of the event Six Flags and Capcom have also teamed up with GameStop to give fans who pre-order and purchase the game at the retailer exclusive benefits, including discounted admission tickets, vouchers for haunted attractions and exclusive ride time on certain Six Flags coasters.

"Having the ability to create and own a branded event like Resident Evil 6 Flags Night within one of the most popular Halloween events across the country, is a tremendous opportunity for our brand," says John Diamonon, product manager, Resident Evil, Capcom. "Not only does the promotion raise awareness for the ‘Resident Evil 6’ launch, but it provides added value and exclusive benefits at Six Flags for all of our fans who pre-order the game."
