Paul Frank Signs Kids' Outerwear Deal

Technical apparel brand 686 has been tapped by Paul Frank Industries to produce kids' snow outerwear, featuring Julius, Skurvy and other characters.

The line for boys and girls will include quilted jackets, print jackets, pants, performance fleece hoodies and thermals, graphic tees, beanies, mittens and gloves. The apparel will be available in mid-October at Paul Frank retail stores and specialty boutiques worldwide.

"As someone who embraces an active lifestyle, I'm excited to team up with 686 to produce a line of superior youth performance products," says Ryan Heuser, chief creative officer of Paul Frank Industries. "686 has an excellent reputation in snow and we view them as quality makers."

Paul Frank Industries, which is represented by Saban Brands, is looking to develop partnerships in the near future for skis, snowboards and bindings.
