Nickelodeon Consumer Products has signed a number of deals for brands, including SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer and iCarly.

SpongeBob deals in Spain include Boibe for children’s underwear and pajamas; Drave Mad for slippers, boots, sandals and trainers (also Portugal); and Jaslen (Utopica Mentes) for a range of trolley and travel bags for kids and teens. Launching this summer, the Jaslen range will be available across retail channels.

SpongeBob SquarePants mural decorations and stickers from European Holographics will launch at El Corte Inglés, Carrefour, Leroy Merlin, Aki, Drim and Conforama.

Other Latin America deals include Norma Carvajal for iCarly and teen-focused telenovela Isa TKM (Isa Te Quiero Mucho) in South America and the Caribbean for back-to-school products.

Tupperware has signed deals for Dora The Explorer, Go! Diego, Go!, Nick Jr. Backyardigans and SpongeBob SquarePants lunch boxes, sandwich bags, bottles, cups and mugs and kitchen storage and tabletop products across Latin America and Brazil.

In addition, MTV Networks Asia and online games company GigaMedia will co-develop and publish the first SpongeBob SquarePants massively multiplayer online game. It is the first Nickelodeon television property to be developed as an MMOG, and Viacom’s first to be developed outside of the U.S. The game will launch in 2011 in China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Southeast Asia and India. The free-to-play model will be complemented by an online store where users can purchase a range of items to populate the game.
