Electronic Arts has created a video game for Hasbro's Littlest Pet Shop toy brand geared at girls aged 6-10.

The game offers tweens the chance to collect and adopt up to three pets and take them on adventures in various worlds—winter, jungle, garden—or play in several mini-games with three levels of difficulty, where additional pets are made available. There's also a Pet Plaza, where players can buy accessories, such as collars, hats and eyeglasses for their pets by using Kibble Coins, earned from game play.

"The launch of Littlest Pet Shop marks the first console game for girls that we're releasing under the EA-Hasbro agreement and underscores our commitment to bring to market highly innovative, fun interactive experiences that reach beyond the traditional hard-core gamer," says Chip Lange, general manager and vice president of EA Casual Entertainment.

The Littlest Pet Shop game will be available for the Nintendo Wii ($39.99), Nintendo DS ($29.99) and PC ($29.99).

Additionally, the Nintendo DS version will offer wireless, multiplayer features and the ability to host pet parties. Exclusive DS accessories—inspired the Littlest Pet Shop game—will also be made available, including a pink-patterned DS clutch at Target, a giraffe DS stylus at Toys "R" Us and a furry pink cat case at Walmart.
