Lionsgate Adds ABC DVD Titles

Lionsgate Home Entertainment’s DVD segment has gained the rights to produce and sell ABC Television’s most popular series through a distribution agreement with Disney-ABC Television.

The first title to be released through the new partnership is “According to Jim: Season 1” on Oct. 21. Followed by "Hope & Faith," "8 Simple Rules... for Dating My Teenage Daughter," "Boy Meets World," "October Road," "My Wife & Kids" and "Six Degrees."

Additionally, Lionsgate announced a partnership with Comcast Entertainment, which gives the media company distribution rights to series on E! Entertainment Television, the Style Network and G4.
