Japan Wins Big with Care Bears

American Greetings Properties and licensing agent MindWorks have announced that Banpresto has signed on for a Care Bears prize program in Japan, to be called Ichiban-Kuji.

Throughout the month of May, consumers in the region can purchase a peel-off ticket at select retailers including amusement stores, bookstores, convenience stores, gift and stationery stores and toy stores.

All ticket holders will win a prize, which feature a range of Care Bears merchandise, including the grand-prize White Tenderheart Bear, cushions, mugs, hand towels, assorted stationery products and scented bath powder.
