Canadian TV broadcaster Corus Entertainment has reached a programming deal with Hasbro Studios to air children's series, including "Transformers Prime" and "My Little Pony Friendship is Magic."

Other Hasbro-produced series included in the agreement with Corus are "G.I. Joe Renegades," "The Adventures of Chuck and Friends" and "Pound Puppies." The shows will air on Corus' kids networks YTV, Treehouse, Nickelodeon (Canada), Teletoon and Teletoon Retro.

"Corus Television marks the first of many international distribution agreements that are designed to create Hasbro's immersive brand experiences around the world," says Stephen Davis, president of Hasbro Studios. "We are delighted to be in business with Corus, one of Canada's leading specialty and pay TV broadcasters, which is renowned for its niche-focused television brands, strong partnerships and compelling content."

Hasbro Studios is the Los Angeles-based production and distribution division of Hasbro Inc.
