Hasbro Extends and Expands Deals with WMS Gaming

WMS Gaming has extended and added to its relationship with Hasbro's popular board game titles.

The manufacturer has extended its exclusive worldwide rights to develop slot machines and other gaming equipment based on the Monopoly brand through 2016.

Hasbro and WMS Gaming's partnership has also added exclusive worldwide rights to create gaming machines based on Battleship and Clue.

"Since introducing our first Monopoly-branded participation games in fiscal 1999, we have developed more than 60 approved Monopoly branded games, including 12 over the last two fiscal years," says Orrin Edidin, president of WMS Industries. "This extension of the Monopoly license agreement acknowledges our consistent development of great games based on this worldwide icon and secures access for our creative teams to one of the world's most enduring entertainment properties for many years to come that will benefit our casino customers, casino patrons, Hasbro and WMS."
