Caroline Mickler, master licensing agent for Fifty Shades of Grey, has appointed Bulls Licensing to represent the publishing property in the Nordics.

"The Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy is the biggest sensation to hit publishing in many years, and we see a great potential for licensing in the Nordics,” says Gustav Melin, licensing director, Bulls Licensing. “Among the licensing categories being discussed are lingerie/sleepwear, apparel, fragrances, beauty products, bedding, home furnishings, stationery and jewelry with continuing book sales and a film version keeping awareness high."

Since they were first released as self-published digital books, sales of the trilogy by British author E. L. James have reached 68 million copies worldwide. Universal Pictures and Focus Features are currently planning a film adaptation.

Bulls Licensing is now seeking potential licensees for the brand in the Nordic region.
