Endemol will reveal its new multi-platform and reality formats at MIP-TV next week.
“Club VIP,” a series from Endemol France, pits reality TV celebrities against a group of unknown wannabes in a popularity contest.
“Secret Story,” an evolution of the “Big Brother” format, which has aired in France, Portugal and the Netherlands, and places a group of contestants, each with a secret, together in a large house. The program is a multiplatform success in France and the Netherlands, with significant participation online.
Endemol U.K.’s “The Money Drop” is a multiplatform series that incorporates a play along online game. The series has so far been sold to 14 territories with further deals in major markets due to be made prior to MIP-TV.
“Our portfolio of programs for MIPTV is headlined by formats that have already pulled in fantastic ratings in major markets,” says Endemol’s chief commercial officer Tom Toumazis. “These shows underline Endemol’s reputation for innovative multiplatform entertainment and we’re tremendously excited about showcasing them in Cannes next week.”
