A New York City-based office has opened for Endemol USA, which will focus on further expansion on the East Coast. The entertainment company has also announced new senior appointments.

The new Manhattan office will focus on cable TV initiatives, as well as the operation of True Entertainment and Original Media, both Endemol-acquired companies based in New York. Dave Hamilton was recently named vice president of development and will be based in New York.

Meanwhile on the West Coast, Endemol has appointed Michael Weinberg as vice president of development and Noah Beery as vice president of production. Both Hamilton and Weinberg will report to Caroline Baumgard, Endemol USA's senior vice president of development.

"Michael Weinberg and Dave Hamilton have incredible experience in both production and development and they will be important players in continuing to help build successful Endemol shows and brands," says Baumgard. "By having support on both coasts, this will allow us to have an even larger

presence."
