Disney is planning a new range of products in the U.K. and Ireland to capitalize on the success of Doc McStuffins, which was the Disney Stores’ fastest-selling new property in 2012.

The new preschool series features Dottie, a 6-year-old girl who fixes her toys’ with help from her stuffed animal friends.

U.K. master toy licensee GP Flair is planning three new products for 2013 including a Doc McStuffins interactive doll, a doctor’s bag set and an interactive play set featuring figures that come to life and tell the Doc what’s wrong when placed on the Magic Clinic table.

Posh Paws will also launch a range of soft toys featuring Doc McStuffins and her friends Hallie, Stuffie, Lambie and Chilly.

“The huge success of Doc McStuffins to date continues to be very exciting for us and builds on our strong preschool portfolio,” says Marianthi O’Dwyer, vice president of licensing and publishing, The Walt Disney Company, U.K. and Ireland. “The themes and experiences in the show are very relatable to children and fit perfectly with their play patterns. The show had more than 3.5 million viewers tuning in during its first eight weeks on Disney Junior and we are very excited to work with licensees across multiple product categories to meet the increasing demand for products.”
