CSI Tracks Down Fans in Spain, Portugal

CBS Consumer Products has announced the launch of the first overseas tour for “CSI: Live!,” the kid-friendly interactive stage show based on CBS’s “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.” CBSCP has tapped Lemon, a producer of children’s shows in the Iberian Peninsula, to produce the show, which will tour through Spain and Portugal. 

The multi-city tour will debut in Lisbon, Portugal, on May 6 and visit cities throughout the country before beginning its Spanish leg in Madrid on June 5.

“CSI: Live!” was created by Mad Science Productions and has toured the U.S. and Canada since 2008. The tour coincides with the launch of the Imagine Words’ Club CSI: children’s book series in Portugal.  

“‘CSI: LIVE!’ has stoked the imaginations of kids across North America, and we’re excited to have Lemon bring the show to fans in Spain and Portugal,” says Liz Kalodner, executive vice president and general manager, CBSCP. “Combined with the introduction of the Club CSI: book series, this is another step in our long-term strategy to build the CSI brand with our youngest fans.”
