Lollipop brand Chupa Chups has had a sweet start to 2013 with a slew of new partners in France, Asia and Australia.

Lollipop brand Chupa Chups has had a sweet start to 2013 with a slew of new partners in France, Asia and Australia.

In France, licensee Sahinler is preparing an apparel line for the whole family for retailer La Halles aux Vêtements, as well as a Home Sweet Home bedding collection; Barbier will launch a tabletop range this spring; and Francal is planning a line of gift bags featuring Chupa Chups artwork.

In Asia, Uniqlo will sell Chupa Chups t-shirts for men and kids; Itochu is preparing a full apparel range for Japanese department stores this spring; toy company Takara Tomy will unveil a Chupa Chups ice lolly maker; T-Factory is developing a line of gadgets; Gigno System is working on a Chupa Chups app; the A + AB rabbit character will launch a co-branded campaign in Hong Kong; and Chamzon is planning an apparel line in Korea and China.

In Australia, Magic Brands is planning a range of accessories for smartphones and tablets; and Who Rae has released a line of air fresheners.

Chupa Chups has also hinted at a number of upcoming deals in Russia and the U.K.
