Paws, Inc. has teamed up with Bare Tree Media to release the new “Garfield Snaps”

photo app, now available for iOS devices in the Apple App Store. A version for Android is coming soon.

“Garfield Snaps” allows fans to customize photos by adding their favorite character images, themed frames and phrases from the Garfield comic strip and TV show, then share those images via email, Facebook and Twitter.

"Garfield is egocentric enough to think he'd improve any photo, not just those who are 'facially challenged,'” says Jim Davis, Garfield creator. “‘Garfield Snaps’ is a great medium for the character, both art and editorial should lend itself nicely to this app."
