Baby Genius Develops Apps for Nokia

Genius Brands International, developer of the Baby Genius brand, has announced a partnership with Nokia for mobile apps for the Nokia Lumia range of mobile devices.

The Baby Genius Ready, Play, Learn kindergarten readiness program will feature a series of educational apps staring Baby Genius characters such as Rexi the Dinosaur and Bubbles the Bear. The apps are designed exclusively for Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform.

“We are extremely excited to work with Nokia as their content partner for its Windows Phone platforms and look forward to a long and successful relationship between our companies as we produce a series of Baby Genius content for Windows Phone,” says Klaus Moeller, chairman and chief executive officer, Genius Brands. “We believe this content is well suited for other Windows platforms so that children and families can enjoy Baby Genius educational content on multiple devices.”

The first two apps, part of a series called Sing ’n Play Pals, are currently in development and scheduled for launch this summer. Additional apps in the Ready, Play, Learn line are scheduled for launch later in the year.
