AGP's Care Bears Sign Singapore Toy Deal

Play Imaginative has been signed by American Greetings Properties and Medialink Brand Management to produce a line of 3-inch figures and more based on the Care Bears in Singapore.

The 3-inch character, known as a Trexi toy, features a rotating head and limbs. In addition, Play Imaginative will also release Care Bears-branded notebooks, notepads, mouse pads, postcard sets, schedules and folders.

"It's been a pleasure to work with Play Imaginative to bring the Care Bears to fans in this fun new style," says Carla Silva, vice president of global licensing at American Greetings Properties. "The Trexi design is very unique and we know that consumers are going to be excited about this new way to enjoy their favorite characters."
