October 25, 2019
Latin star J Balvin and Chicago-based visual artist and designer Louis De Guzman have teamed up to celebrate “SpongeBob SquarePants” and the brand’s 20-year influence on pop culture.
The underwater world of “SpongeBob,” brought to life via Balvin’s contemporary style and De Guzman’s geo-abstraction motif, will be represented across a variety of apparel items, accessories and furniture pieces.
"I've been a big ‘SpongeBob’ fan for years,” says J Balvin. “I feel blessed to have the opportunity to combine some of my own style with the distinctive vision of an artist I respect as much as Louis – while honoring the 20th anniversary of such an iconic show that has brought joy to both myself and millions of TV fans.
