Iconix Announces Starter Collab

The unisex range consists of five pieces of apparel: a pair of basketball shorts, two game jerseys (one vest and one long-sleeved), a hooded sweater, a classic Starter satin, varsity jacket, and three caps all perfectly capturing both brand’s ethos.

“The print was inspired by traditional Brazilian floral fabric called Chita,” says Inacio Riberio, Clements Riberio. “The black background, however, makes it unique and gives it a hard edge. We used it to give a tropical spice to our 'post-punk' winter collection. We also think it makes a fantastic canvas for the logos.”

“We love it when two parties are brave enough to surprise their respective audiences,” says Angela Farrugia, managing director, Iconix Europe. “What happens is something really eclectic comes out of it and it’s surprising and everyone goes, ‘Wow, of course!’”
