The Gendel Girls, one of QVC’s largest intimate apparel brands, has appointed Umang Shah to the role of acting chief marketing officer.

The Gendel Girls, one of QVC’s largest intimate apparel brands, has appointed Umang Shah to the role of acting chief marketing officer.

In his new position, Shah will lead all marketing efforts including advertising, strategic partnerships, social media and public relations at The Gendel Girls.

Prior to joining the company, Shah served as director of digital marketing and marketing innovation at Campbell Soup Company. While at Campbell’s, he led their digital marketing strategy and also oversaw the company’s digital and social media activities and policies, as well as mobile, web, CRM and emerging media activation. Prior, he was director of social media strategy at Walmart and served as a social media strategist for Microsoft.
