U.S.-based accessories licensee Concept One has formed a joint venture with the Mexican fashion firm Comercializadora Euro CVH to expand its business into Mexico under the name Concept One Mexico.

The move follows Concept One’s launch of a Canadian joint venture in 2012.

Concept One Mexico will be jointly owned and managed by both companies, with its showroom and corporate offices located in Mexico City.

"The goal of the joint venture is to penetrate each market deeply, utilizing the experience and local relationships of our partners, while leveraging the license portfolio, product design capabilities and sourcing of Concept One," says Effy Zinkin, president, Concept One. "Our licensors have been looking to us to support their brands in a meaningful way outside of the U.S. As such, we have found the best way to service these territories is by partnering with a strong local company that has existing and widespread distribution and understands the nuances of the local market. Comercializadora Euro CVH is a best-in-class company in the Mexican fashion industry."
