Updated collection will showcase additional surf-inspired pieces from the late artist’s archives.

NORTH AMERICA–Billabong, in partnership with the Andy Warhol Foundation, has released its second limited collection of Warhol Surf apparel and accessories.

The new range will build on the brands’ original line–which included board shorts, swimwear, tops, tees and accessories–with revamped designs utilizing the Warhol archives as inspiration.

“As we searched the archives and discovered more of Andy’s unique and unsighted work, it illustrated the connection between his work and surf culture,” says Brad Lancaster, global creative director, Billabong. “With this second drop of Warhol x Billabong we have brought these narratives and concepts to life again, colliding them with Billabong’s iconic take on board shorts, bikinis and complementary products.”

The second Warhol x Billabong collaboration is now available.

“The second collection of Warhol x Billabong continues to disrupt and keep it fresh with insider references from his groundbreaking Exploding Plastic Inevitable Show to his beachside getaway in Montauk, N.Y.,” says Michael Dayton Hermann, director, licensing, The Andy Warhol Foundation. “Warhol passionately embraced surf culture and the Foundation is pleased to know that the love is mutual.”
