Outfitters has begun its back-to-school season with the debut of the

AE x

“The Summer I Turned Pretty” collection, now available in stores and online. The campaign also stars “The Summer I Turned Pretty



Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno and Lola Tung. The collection is also available at and directly from Season 2 episodes via Prime Video’s X-Ray feature. 

“American Eagle has been a favorite back-to-school destination for decades,” says Jennifer Foyle, president, executive creative director, AE and Aerie. “This year, we are very excited to deliver a collection inspired by the laid-back spirit and carefree vibes of ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ and the unmistakable style of the cast. The AE x “The

Summer I Turned Pretty” collection

was inspired by the summer feels of Cousins Beach. The collection includes: 

  • Trekker and cargo shorts, swim trunks, pocket boxers, a poolside shirt and graphic T-shirt for men 

    • Floral flare jeans, a crochet crop top, miniskirt and baby T-shirt for women  

      “Summer fashion plays such a big role in ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty,’ and we couldn’t be more excited to collaborate with American Eagle to create a collection inspired by the show,” says Jamie Kampel, head, licensing and merchandising, Amazon Studios. “The brand alignment here is spot on, and we know fans of the show love AE.” 

      The collaboration’s seasonal apparel includes

      cargo pants, relaxed straight jeans, khaki shorts, cargo shorts, The Everyday Shirt, button-through polo and a super-soft legend T-shirt for men. For women, the collection includes jean shorts, a denim maxi skirt, baggy wide-leg jeans, denim tube top, lace-trim cami and a cropped tee. 

      The brand’s latest campaign is at, in stores and across owned social, including Instagram and TikTok. Briney, Casalegno and Tung will also showcase the seasonal assortment on their social channels and their must-haves from the AE + “The Summer I Turned Pretty”
