Alpha Industries Streamlines European License Business

US Alpha Industries, which produces flight jackets and military-inspired casual clothing, is streamlining its European operations by combining Alpha’s London office with Alpha’s licensee for Germany. Alpha will move its London operations to Germany and give a European-wide license to Alpha GmbH.

Alpha Industries manufactures iconic flight jackets used by the United States Air Force since the 1950s. From this base it has built a collection of urban military-inspired streetwear.

Alpha Industries GmbH, located in Neu-Isenberg outside of Frankfurt, Germany, has been an Alpha licensee for more than 15 years. With the new deal it becomes the European licensee and European headquarters for Alpha, responsible for distribution of all Alpha products throughout the EU.

The famous flight jackets and field jackets produced by Alpha Industries, such as the MA-1 and CWU 45/P flight jackets, will continue to be produced by the U.S. company, and sold in Europe via Alpha Industries GMBH.
