"Thumb Wrestling Federation: TWF" Pins Down U.S. Home on Cartoon Network

Live-action short-form series "Thumb Wrestling Federation: TWF," has landed on kids' broadcaster Cartoon Network, following a year of airing on British television.

The U.S.-made show—all the bouts are filmed by independent Animation Collective—airs this week (Nov. 3).

"TWF's" licensing program in the U.K. includes toys, apparel, accessories, greetings cards, sticker books, calendars, plush and publishing.

In the U.S. and globally, "TWF" is represented by Al Ovadia & Associates. "Kids are going to love the no-holds-barred thumb wrestling action," says Al Ovadia, president. "'TWF' brings a fun and action-packed personality to one of the most well established play patterns around. It is sure to be as big a hit in the U.S. as it is in the U.K. In laying out their year-long strategy, Cartoon Network has demonstrated a massive commitment to the future of the series in the U.S."
