Light Fund Reaches £1 Million Milestone

The U.K.-based charity The Light Fund recently hosted a fundraising quiz event, Nov. 24, with more than 300 licensing executives, raising more than £17,000 for the industry charity.

The U.K.-based charity The Light Fund recently hosted a fundraising quiz event, Nov. 24, with more than 300 licensing executives, raising more than £17,000 for the industry charity.

The recent contributions also helped the charity reach a new milestone–more than £1 million raised to date. Founded as a series of raffles and a quiz night in 2004, the industry charity has funded more than 100 projects and has expanded to include multiple fundraising activities such as karaoke, race nights, treasure hunts, marathons, golf days and more.

Additionally, Danilo won the Nov. 24 event. Sponsors for the fundraiser included Allsorts Licensing, Start Licensing, Ryker Sear, Max Publishing, Rainbow Productions, Rocket Licensing, Bulldog Licensing, Amscan, Red Central, Centum Books, Blueprint, Gosh Designs and Kinnerton.
