PlayMonster has acquired U.K.-based toy company Interplay U.K. and now has control over Interplay’s operations and full brand portfolio.

Both companies hope to scale their operations and to expand their presence in existing markets through new and incremental product categories, as a result of the deal.

The companies have worked together since 2016 when PlayMonster acquired a North American license for Interplay’s My Fairy Garden brand.

With Interplay becoming the first subsidiary, with an office and employees who will continue the business as usual from their headquarters in Marlow, it gives both companies and outstanding opportunity to grow their business globally.”
