K’Nex is getting a jump start on licensing one of the most highly anticipated video games of 2014, Respawn Entertainment’s “Titanfall.”
The toy company is already planning a line of building sets for the video game, which will be released March 11, 2014, for Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
Despite the fact that it hasn’t yet launched, the first-person has already received more than 80 gaming awards.
K’Nex will offer a sneak peek of the Titanfall building sets at the New York Toy Fair, Feb. 16-19. The sets will include popular characters from the game as well as other key gameplay elements.
“Titanfall Building Sets from K’Nex will bring the exciting worlds to life in a new way,” says Michael Araten, president and chief executive officer, K’Nex Brands. “Gamers and builders of all ages will have the opportunity to build the Titanfall Frontier right in their own homes. I can’t wait to see how fans will take their digital game skills and use them in the real world.”
