WildBrain has announced it has secured international distribution deals for animated preschool series, “Brave Bunnies.” The news comes as producers, WildBrain, Glowberry, Anima Kitchent and KidsMe launch a second season of the series, following last year’s announcement of their global partnership on the brand.
Under the partnership, WildBrain handles global distribution of the series, while Glowberry manages distribution in Ukraine, KidsMe in Italy and Anima Kitchent in Spain. In consumer products, WildBrain’s leading agency, WildBrain CPLG, handles licensing and merchandising worldwide, outside of Ukraine, while Glowberry handles licensing and Italy with KidsMe handling licensing and merchandising.
The show’s curious and adventurous sibling bunnies, Boo and Bop, continue their global adventure through new distribution partnerships inked with TeleTOON+ (Canal+ Poland), Channel 5’s preschool strand, Milkshake! (U.K.) and Rai Yoyo (Italy) for both Season 1 and 2. Season 1 has also been newly picked up by CNC Media International (South Korea) and Stan (Australia). Season 1 is now available on the WildBrain+ SVOD channel on Comcast in the U.S. These international deals reflect the global appeal of the brand, adding to the list of platforms in more than 80 countries across LatAm, Canada, the U.K., Europe, Nordics, the Middle East, Asia and Australia that have previously picked up the series. YouTube also remains a popular destination for “Brave Bunnies” fans, where the preschool brand continues to develop a global audience with new uploads each week on the official “Brave Bunnies” YouTube channel.
“It’s easy to understand why we continue to see strong demand for ‘Brave Bunnies’ from broadcasters and streamers worldwide,” says Caroline Tyre, vice president, global sales and rights strategy, WildBrain. “Through catchy songs, adorable characters and big adventures, the charming series engages kids everywhere, appealing to their sense of joy and imagination. It also fosters values of curiosity, creativity, acceptance and openness, encouraging kids to discover what they might have in common with new friends while also celebrating what makes them different.”
“With ‘Brave Bunnies,’ I wanted to create a series that would encourage children to be curious about the world around them and to not only respect but celebrate its diversity,” says Olga Cherepanova, co-founder, creative producer, Glowberry. “It’s rewarding to see children around the world connect so strongly with these important values through the show’s lovable characters and their adventures.”
