Sesame Workshop, the global nonprofit behind “Sesame Street,” and Audible, a creator and provider of audio storytelling, are collaborating again with the release of the new “Sesame Street” podcast, “Ready, Set, Ride with Elmo.”
In every episode, Elmo picks up a friend on “Sesame Street” in his Elmobile. Once they buckle in, the Elmobile can transform into anything – a race car, helicopter, giant skateboard, even a banana peel with wheels – before whisking them off on a themed adventure.
“If you think you know trains, planes and automobiles, get ready to explore them in a brand-new way with your favorite ‘Sesame Street’ friends in ‘Ready, Set, Ride with Elmo,’” says Jennifer Ahearn, senior vice president, strategic partnerships and themed entertainment, Sesame Workshop. “We’re excited to debut our latest collaboration with Audible. No doubt, this podcast series will spark the imaginations of children and families as they strap in for a wondrous, laughter-filled escapade.”
Available exclusively from Audible, each episode will be approximately 10 minutes long, with a total of eight episodes.
Sesame Workshop first teamed up with Audible in 2020 for “The Sesame Street Podcast with Foley & Friends.” The show was renewed for a second and third season.
