Rocket Licensing Books Licensing Deals for ‘Derry Girls’

Channel 4 sitcom earns four licensing agreements ahead of the debut of the third series of the show.

Rocket Licensing has announced the first four license agreements for the U.K. comedy series “Derry Girls.”

The licenses cover daywear, sports and leisure apparel, wall art and gifting, paperware and social stationery. Deals include:

  • Park Agencies for a line of adults’ and kids’ t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies;

  • Danilo for a collection of stationeries such as wall calendars, greetings cards, gift wrap and bags;

  • Pyramid International for a range of wall art, prints, drinkware and

  • O’Neill’s Irish International Sports for a collection of adult sports jerseys.

The partnerships follow news that the third series eof “Derry Girls” has been scheduled by Channel 4. Along with the deals in key categories already announced, Rocket will be focusing on nightwear, loungewear, bedding, dress-up, gifting and homewares, stationery, accessories, health and beauty, and games and puzzles moving forward for the brand. The agency added the series to its portfolio late last year.
