NBCUniversal and ViacomCBS have struck a deal to bring content like “Ray Donovan,” “Charmed” and “The Game” to the Peacock streaming network.

NBCUniversal has agreed to a content licensing deal with ViacomCBS to bring Paramount movies and TV shows to the Peacock streaming network.
The deal sees series such as “Ray Donovan,” “The Affair,” “Charmed,” “Undercover Boss,” “The Game,” “Everybody Hates Chris” and “Real Husbands of Hollywood” available to stream on Peacock. In addition, select Paramount films will stream on Peacock in limited exclusivity windows throughout 2021, 2022, and 2023. Some of the movie titles included in the deal are “The Godfather” trilogy, “Catch Me If You Can,” “The Talented Mr. Ripley,” “American Beauty,” “Patriot Games,” “Last Holiday,” “Fatal Attraction” and “The Firm.”

ViacomCBS movies and series join Peacock’s already announced collection of programming the includes new originals such as “Brave New World,” “The Capture,” “Intelligence” and “Lost Speedways.” The streaming network is set to debut on July 15 in both free and paid premium varieties.
“This agreement with Peacock demonstrates the incredible and enduring value of ViacomCBS content,” adds Dan Cohen, president, ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group. “The partnership we are announcing today is consistent with our strategy to maximize the value of our content by selectively licensing our library product to third parties while prioritizing franchise IP for our own platforms.”
