Bulldog Licensing announced that a new animated series based on Gogo’s Crazy Bones is set for production. The innovative collectible figures are produced by Magic Box International and PPI Worldwide Group.
Lima-based Aronnax Animation Studios will produce the series, while Televix Entertainment will serve as the worldwide distributor. Production on a pilot is underway for completion by October and the remaining episodes will be ready for next year.
Gogo’s Crazy Bones is the top-selling collectible toy in the U.K., Spain, Germany, Benelux, South Africa, Australia and New Zeland. In the U.S., the brand is already the second-biggest selling collectable in Walmart stores.
Gogo’s Crazy Bones has a strong licensing program that includes publishing, plush, celebration cakes, apparel, greeting cards, stationery, back to school, calendars and giftware, with partners including Random House, Eaglemoss, Winning Moves, SA Greetings, National Entertainment Network, Imagination Games and Poetic Gem.
