Viacom and PepsiCo are teaming up to bring Nickelodeon’s rebooted series “Double Dare” to life at the event Comedy Central Presents Clusterfest.
Taking place June 1-3, Viacom’s Comedy Central and Nickelodeon Splat brands, as well as PepsiCo’s Mountain Dew Kickstart, will allow Clusterfest attendees a chance to race through iconic “Double Dare” challenges and interact with celebrity guests.
The event will cap off with a one-hour “Double Dare” episode presented by Mountain Dew Kickstart. The event will be hosted by Marc Summers and star contestants from MTV’s “The Challenge” and a variety of Comedy Central comedians. The challenge will also feature an authentic “Double Dare” set and a Mountain Dew-themed obstacle.
"‘Double Dare’ is the voice of a particular generation. Maybe a few generations! It has been more than 30 years since the show debuted, and not a day goes by where somebody doesn't approach me, no matter what city I might be in, and asks if they can take the physical challenge," said Summers. "I am very excited to be a part of Clusterfest and hope to make many people's dream come true."
Clusterfets is an annual comedy and music festival presented by Comedy Central and will take place June 1-3 at the Civic Center Plaza & Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco.
