4Kids Entertainment's and its majority-owned subsidiary TC Digital Games launches the Chaotic trading card game in Germany this week.

The TCG, distributed in Germany through Universal Cards, is being sold in core and hobby stores including Toys"R"Us, Müller, Game Stop, My Toys and Mediamarkt. The rollout will be supported by a television and online advertising campaign.

The TCG launch will be followed by the German premiere of the "Chaotic" television series this week on RTL2 and is scheduled to air Mondays through Thursdays. The TV series will be supported by a Web presence through a Chaotic microsite on the RTL2 kids' Web site, which features episode guides, downloads, games and links for kids to find out more about Chaotic. Additionally, "Chaotic" will also be featured on "My Pokito," the daily interactive kids' show on RTL2, where a themed Chaotic week has been taking place.

"With Chaotic growing in popularity across the world, I'm confident that we will be successful in building a strong platform for the brand in the German market," says Sandra Vauthier-Cellier, managing director of 4Kids Entertainment International.
