The rights to brand new preschool puppet series “Monty and Co” have been acquired by BBC’s preschool channel CBeebies from Serious Lunch.

Licensing Link will represent the licensing and merchandising rights and are targeting plush, nightwear, daywear and publishing as the core categories.

“‘Monty and Co’ was produced using a unique funding model operating under the U.K.’s Enterprise Investment Scheme, and we hope the CBeebies broadcast and Serious Lunch’s will now attract further investment and sales to produce more episodes going forward,” says Nigel Plaskitt, actor, puppeteer, producer and director, Pipkins Productions.
