The “kitty that lives in a banana” gets a second season and new licensing deals.

Crunchyroll has partnered with Bioworld to create a line of new products ahead of the second season of anime series “Bananya.”
The line will include items across various categories, including apparel, sleepwear, bags, wallets, headwear, footwear, accessories and desk collectibles. Bioworld will join other recent licensees for the series such as Bittyboomers for Bluetooth clip-on speakers, Fabrique Innovations for fabric and CTC Foods for Ramune soft drinks.
More than one million licensed “Banaya” products have been sold since the first season of the show aired. Items in the line have been for apparel, bags, hats, stationery, calendars, wall art, home decor, accessories, plush and vinyl categories.
“Banaya” is a Crunchyroll property about a cat that lives in a Banana. It first launched in Japan in 2016. Along with “Bananya”, Bioworld also licenses Crunchyroll-owned IP such as “Dr. Stone,” “Black Clover” and “Mob Psycho 100.”
