'Adventure Time' Clocks New Minecraft Mashup Deals

Cartoon Network and Mojang have expanded their “Adventure Time” and Minecraft partnership to include a special episode and a line of limited-edition consumer products.

The new 11-minute episode, “Diamonds and Lemons,” follows Finn and his friends as they explore the latest version of Ooo. The event is set to air July 20 on Cartoon Network and will be available across the channel’s platforms.

The media companies have also tapped a slate of partners for the limited-edition Adventure Time Minecraft goods, at retail this August.

Partners include Funko for a line of Pop! Vinyl figures based on “Adventure Time” characters Finn, Jake, Marceline, and Princess Bubblegum as well as three shirt designs made exclusively for Journeys KIdz.
