Top Legends Collaborates with Upper Deck on Wayne Gretzky Value Note

has announced a multiyear licensing program with Top Legends to produce authentic, currency-quality value notes featuring four-time Stanley Cup champion,

. Reminiscent of a commemorative banknote, Gretzky’s ice hockey value notes will be the first in the ice hockey series of seven legendary figures, all of which will be revealed over the next seven years, with one piece debuting annually.

Through Upper Deck’s exclusive global licensing agency, Brevettar, both companies designed the program with Gretzky in mind to offer fans an experience beyond his hockey highlights. Top Legends’ value-note collectible celebrates the most iconic athletes and artists of the sports and entertainment industries. In addition to having his name and image featured on the value note, Gretzky will be a spokesperson and ambassador for Top Legends. The release goes live June 28 at 3 p.m. PST at an event featuring Gretzky in Las Vegas, Nev., and broadcast live on YouTube.
