Roblox, Liverpool FC Collab on In-Game Kit

Ahead of Liverpool FC’s soccer tour of the U.S., the Premier League club has taken to the digital pitch with Roblox’s user-generated gaming platform.

The latest addition to Roblox’s online game allows Liverpool fans to customize their characters with the club’s home kit and 2019/2020 jerseys. Players will also be able to face-off in matches with avatars of club members such as Alisson Becker, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk.

“We couldn’t be happier to bring Liverpool FC’s incredible legacy and winning spirit to Roblox, as we both share a strong respect for our community of players and fans,” says Craig Donato, chief business officer, Roblox. “The Roblox community will jump at the chance to show their support for one of the world’s most storied football clubs and step into the shoes of their favorite Liverpool FC player.”

The collaboration will also bring new unlockables such as a digital scarf, adding to Roblox’s latest initiatives which have included partnerships with Jazwares.
