As part of its 150th anniversary celebrations, the FAO Schwarz flagship store in New York City is featuring a walk-around gallery showcasing a collection of dolls from long-time partner the Tonner Doll Company, timed to coincide with Fashion Week in New York City.
The Tonner Dolls exhibit will feature the company’s work throughout the decades. Starting with two examples of Tonner’s earliest work–porcelain versions of Alice in Wonderland and Little Red Riding Hood–visitors will also have the chance to see dolls of Harry Potter character, Wonder Woman and classic Tonner designs like Sydney Chase.
“A Fashionable Collection of Tonner Dolls” will run through Oct. 16 and will be accessible online beginning next Thursday.
