FAO Schwarz Adds Muppet Whatnots

FAO Schwarz has unveiled its Muppet Whatnot puppets, background creatures that appear in every Muppet production, for customers to design and purchase.

The Fifth Avenue store will feature a Whatnot Workshop where shoppers can create Muppet puppets by selecting a body; choosing eyes, nose and hair; and dressing the doll.

Puppet makers in the will assemble the Whatnot in about 30 minutes. Each puppet comes with a puppeteer hand rod and a clear, vinyl backpack. Customers also can create their very own Muppet Whatnots online.
