Centric Brands Adds to Executive Team

Centric Brands has added two new leadership roles.

Two new leadership positions have been added to the executive team at Centric Brands, Sid Keswani and Ruth Hartman.

“As Centric Brands continues implementing our strategic growth initiatives, we are fortunate to add two leaders as accomplished as Sid and Ruth to our innovative and entrepreneurial team,” says Jason Rabin, chief executive officer, Centric Brands. “Sid’s extensive operational experience and strong leadership capabilities will help to drive efficiencies throughout the organization. His deep understanding of the retail and omnichannel market will be a complementary addition to the team. Ruth has a great deal of knowledge and experience in the digital space that can help us capitalize on one of our key growth initiatives of expanding our online revenue. Both Sid and Ruth’s skill and expertise will add incredible value and I look forward to their contributions.”

Sid Keswani has been tapped as president of Centric Brands. Keswani’s previous roles include president, North American division, Pandora.

“Centric Brands is a market leader in the kids’, accessories, and men’s and women’s lifestyle categories, with a strong portfolio of brands and customers with enormous growth potential,” says Keswani. “I am excited to join the company at this pivotal time to help drive operational excellence and efficiencies and ensure we are delivering customer-centric experiences. I am also excited about leveraging digital tools to enable accelerated growth. I am looking forward to working with Jason and the team as part of our growth journey.”

Centric Brands has also added Ruth Hartman, adviser, Bain & Co. to its board. Hartman previously was president at Lord & Taylor, where she oversaw digital, merchandising, stores and marketing.

“I look forward to working with the team at Centric Brands to contribute to the growth of their thriving ecosystem of iconic owned and licensed brands,” says Hartman. “Combining the Company’s product excellence and brand-first mentality with a focus on data and digital will enhance operational performance and the value our company brings to our customers and partners.”

Keswani and Hartmans appointments have been put into effect.
