Build-A-Bear Workshop and Carnival Cruise Lines have joined forces to bring the retailer to the line’s fleet of ships.

Through a variety of pop-up workstations, which will be set up at designated times throughout the cruise, Build-A-Bear Workshop at Sea will provide cruise line guests with the opportunity to make their own plush animal that can be customized with a range of outfits and accessories.

In addition to the pop-up locations, cruise line attendees will be able to join the ships’ cruise directors at themed parties featuring music, bear-themed snacks and photo opportunities.

"Build-A-Bear Workshop stores have always been a destination for families, and our partnership with Carnival Cruise Line will offer passengers the chance to take part in the fun of making new furry friends while onboard," says Sharon John, president and chief executive officer, Build-A-Bear Workshop. "The arrival of the new Build-A-Bear Workshop experience on Carnival Cruise Line ships is an exciting example of how we're bringing our nearly 20-year-old brand into more places than ever before."

The first Build-A-Bear Workshop at Sea is currently being rolled out aboard the Carnival Dream and is expected to be join all 25 Carnival ships by summer 2017.
