Zhu Zhu Pets' First Video Game Hits Stores

Activision Publishing, GameMill Publishing and Cepia have rolled out the first video game based on the Zhu Zhu Pets for Nintendo DS.

In the Zhu Zhu Pets game, players can care for and play with their favorite hamsters, including Mr. Squiggles, Num Nums and Chunk. Features include more than 30 levels of gaming on a skateboard, in a car or spinning a hamster in a hamster ball. The Nintendo DS game is available now for $29.99.

The hit holiday 2009 toy won three honors at the 10th annual Toy Industry Association Toy of the Year Awards, 2010 toy of the year, girls' toy of the year and innovative toy of the year. This year, Cepia is rolling out additional pet lines, including Zhu Zhu Rock Star, Zhu Zhu Wild Bunch and Kung Zhu.
