4Kids Entertainment has signed a number of deals for its art and design brand Artlist Collection: The Dog including a worldwide deal (excluding Asia) on mobile phones with Connect2Media, the multi-platform entertainment company.
Cellfish has also taken a license for mobile wallpaper for The Dog and its companion property The Cat for the French, Belgian and Swiss markets.
In the U.K., The Dog mobile phone socks from Lazerbuilt are launching at Tesco this spring 2009, following an earlier T-Mobile store launch.
In mainland Europe, a deal for The Dog and The Cat has recently been inked with Ciao Restaurants in Italy through Grani and Partners. Customers will receive one of four mini plush dogs with selected meals.
Other new deals for The Dog include Giochi Preziosi for stationery, gift sets and sticker albums in Italy; A Korsch Verlang for calendars in Germany; Naipes Heraclio for playing cards and keyrings in Spain; Smoby Toys for accessories in Spain; Klaus Herding for bedding in Germany, Austria and Switzerland; and One2Play for apparel and stationery in Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia.
The Cat has been signed with Clairefontaine for stationery and gift bags in France, Switzerland, Belgium and Lebanon.
