Off the heels of the announcement of Oscar the Grouch as chief trash officer, United Airlines, there is now a “Sesame Street”-inspired United Children’s Travel Kit available from the airline.
The United Children’s Travel Kit, created in collaboration with “Sesame Street,” offers interactive activities to make the travel experience fun for kids and stress-free for parents. The kit includes:
An activity booklet features coloring pages, mazes, dot to dots and more, featuring Oscar the Grouch and a few of his Sesame Street friends.
An interactive slide puzzle features a picture of the chief trash officer in his favorite environment – a trash can. Kids can spend time sliding the pieces around without parents having to worry about the hassle of making sure nothing gets lost.
Crafted to help soothe anxiety and fidgeting, the calming strip provides kids with a gentle, but textured surface to help them relax and maintain focus.
The new travel kits are a part of United’s larger collaboration with Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit behind “Sesame Street,” which also includes the chief trash officer campaign aimed at educating consumers on the benefits of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and United’s support of the Workshop’s Welcome Sesame, an initiative bringing early learning and care for children and caregivers impacted by conflict and crisis.
