Roger Berman, a Japanese-English bilingual, has announced the launch of Tokyo-based ZenWorks in Tokyo, a boutique consultancy offering communications, media and coordination services for the Japanese and international licensing communities.
Berman has more than two decades of professional experience in the Japanese and global licensing arenas. He was a former managing director of LIMA Japan and prior to that held managerial positions with Cosmo Merchandising and Copyrights Asia.
"As the world's third-largest licensing market worth approximately $16.4 billion Japan presents a wealth of potential opportunities to international licensors," says Berman. "With the rapid growth of Japanese content in recent years, worldwide business prospects for Japanese licensors abound. ZenWorks provides a broad choice of services for overseas licensors looking to enter Japan, and for Japanese content holders expanding into international markets."
